* Harper *
This is my version of adorable Harper, a sculpt by Tina Kewy.
He is painted by me, KrisC from The Dainty Loft
Irelyn is approximately 19-2o inches long and roughly 5ish pounds.
He is poured in Eco20 silicone, making him soft and squishy.
He is a cuddle silicone (head is silicone) with a cloth body. His body has been weighted with polyfil and pouches of glass beads.
He is one of the most adorable babies to pose!!!
I have opened his mouth and hollowed it out enough for him to take a baby pacifier.
I have worked hard to learn and achieve the best paint techniques out there. I use only the very best silicone paints. With this amazing paint, I have given him a very rich newborn skin tone with mottling and subtle veins. I tried a very robust palette with Harper, different than most of my babies.
Every inch of him has been painted, made to look like a breathing baby. Tiny details and dewy touches give this little boy a spectacular look. Look at the baby rash on his forehead!!!
I've given Harper hand-applied eyebrows and rooted eyelashes.
His hair has been meticulously rooted by Jon the Rootsmith. I love how thick and comb-able his brown hair is. Stunning!
Just like a newborn!!!!
With a final layer of matting, his skin is not shiny or glossy like some silicones.
His matting is STUNNING and he has the softest, silkiest skin EVER!
All of this is an EXTREMELY time-consuming process and is difficult to achieve this look.
Everything you see on this little boy is unique to him.
This makes him a one of a kind.
