This is my version of newborn Marlen, a sculpt by the talented Monica Parres
She is also produced and poured in silicone by Monica.
And painted by me, KrisC from The Dainty Loft.

Marlen is approximately 20 inches from head to heel with straightened legs and weighs 9.5lbs. She takes 3month and 6month clothes.
She is poured in one piece with Super Soft Blend silicone, making her soft and squishy. Her silicone is the most softest I've ever felt. Almost, like Memory Foam. It's remarkable. She folds into your arms just like a new baby.
Because her silicone is exceptionally soft, her hands and feet details are less and she has much more wrinkles that move with her posing. Marlen's ears and tongue have been poured in a harder silicone.
Her neck is extremely floppy so it must be supported when picking her up. She is a full-body, anatomically correct silicone. I have put armatures in her arms and legs for greater pose-ability.

Marlen has an open mouth and secured tongue for the ability to put a pacifier and bottle in her mouth.
I've delicately painted and sealed everything inside to look real.
*continual rubbing on the lips can sometimes cause the top layer to peel. Its recommended to use a liquid silicone to wet the nipple for easier insertion.
Marlen is currently bald. Her scalp has been painted realistically darker and ready for hair or for being bald.
If her new mommy would like her rooted, I can arrange for my magnificent rooter Isabel Anguiano to root her AFTER the auction is done for an additional $500.00.
This will include rooting in the hair color and style of her Mommy's choice along with all shipping costs. This would delay the shipment to her new home until she is rooted and returns back to me. If you have any questions about this, please ask BEFORE the auction ends.
Marlen's base color was a rich peachy color and her final skin tone is more peachy warm than most of my newborns. Because her silicone is exceptionally soft, the paint details are more blurred. Look at all photos before bidding, please.
I've given Marlen hand-applied eyebrows. If Mommy wants lashes I can add them after the auction or get them rooted if Mommy chooses hair.
I’ve even given her a tiny umbilical stump. It is permanent.
With a final layer of matting, her skin is not shiny or glossy like some silicones. Her matting is STUNNING and he has the softest, silkiest skin EVER!
With her extremely soft silicone, the matting on her hands and feet may get shinier quicker than regular soft silicone. Please be aware of this as this happens with extremely soft silicone.
Powdering them temporarily takes away the shine.
Marlen has been painted by me. I have worked hard to learn and achieve the best paint techniques out there.
I use only the very best silicone paints. With this amazing paint, I have given her a rich peachy, newborn skin tone with mottling and subtle veins.
Every inch of her has been painted, made to look like a breathing baby. Tiny details and dewy touches give this little sweety a spectacular look.
All of this is an EXTREMELY time-consuming process and is difficult to achieve this look.
Everything you see on this little munchkin is unique to her.
This makes her a one-of-a-kind and not to be repeated.
She will travel home with all her outfits shown in photos, along with a her princess penguin blanket, pacifier, care instructions and COA.
