*Olive*
This is my version of newborn Olive, a sculpt by the talented Izzy Zhao
This is the prototype of a silicone edition Olive~ Boy/Girl
She is produced and poured by The Dainty Loft Molding.
And painted by me, KrisC from The Dainty Loft.
Blank kits as a boy or girl are available through The Baby Nook. If you love this baby, grab her now as I don't know if I'll ever paint another.
Olive is approximately 19 inches from head to heel with straightened legs and weighs 6.7lbs. She takes newborn clothes
She is poured in one piece with a Soft Blend platinum silicone, making her soft and squishy.
She is a full-body, anatomically correct female silicone. I have put armatures in her arms and legs for greater pose-ability. She is not overly floppy.
Disclaimer: Please do not push, pull, over-bend, or stress the wire more than necessary. I do not take responsibility for breakage/damage due to overuse or mistreatment.
Olive has an open mouth and detachable tongue.
She can take a pacifier and bottle in her mouth.
I've delicately painted and sealed everything inside to look real.
*continual rubbing on the lips can sometimes cause the top layer to peel. Its recommended to use a liquid silicone to wet the nipple for easier insertion.
Olive’s hair is a dark warm brown. I love a full head of hair on babies.
Straight and newborn and perfectly rooted by the incredible Lazara Brito .
I adore this style on her!!! Just like a real baby girl!
I've given Olive hand-applied eyebrows and lashes.
She also has some baby acne on her brows and little baby eye goobies.
I’ve even given her a tiny umbilical stump. It is permanent.
With a final layer of matting, her skin is not shiny or glossy like some silicones. Her matting is STUNNING and she has the softest, silkiest skin EVER!
As with all soft silicone, the matting on hands and feet may get shinier quicker .
Please be aware of this as this happens with soft silicone.
Powdering them temporarily takes away the shine.
Olive has been painted by me. I have worked hard to learn and achieve the best paint techniques out there.
I use only the very best silicone paints. Olive is one of my first babies with a very deep pink newborn skintone. With this amazing paint, I’ve added mottling and subtle veins. She looks very newborn in real color. (the picture right below is the closest to her real color)
Every inch of her has been painted, made to look like a breathing baby. Tiny details and dewy touches give this little sweety a spectacular look.
All of this is an EXTREMELY time-consuming process and is difficult to achieve this look.
Everything you see on this little munchkin is unique to her.
This makes her a one-of-a-kind and not to be repeated.
She will travel home with all her outfits shown in photos, along with a blanket, pacifier, care instructions and COA.
